Sean Newberg was hired in May of 2024 as a Conservation Technician. Sean oversees the Reinvest in Minnesota (RIM) Program and works on other programs like the Minnesota Buffer Law and the Wetland Conservation Act (WCA).
Having formerly worked at Lincoln County Conservation District in South Dakota, Sean brings his experience and conservation knowledge to the Renville SWCD team. Originally from Raymond, MN, Sean is happy to once again reside in the area after several years away. He is an avid archery hunter enjoys hiking, camping, and fishing in his free time.
